Three linked events across two venues, with religious catering standards confirmed in writing and an order of ceremony that could not be shortened.
Multi-day cultural celebrations are logistically the hardest format we handle, because each day depends on the one before it and the schedule cannot absorb delay by cutting the ceremony short.
Catering was the first decision rather than a later one. Meeting a religious standard is not something to establish by phone - the requirement was written into the supplier contract, and the venue was briefed on what it meant for their kitchen and their staff.
Two venues across three days means guests, suppliers and equipment all move. Transport was scheduled as its own workstream, with separate arrangements for elderly guests travelling between sites and for the production kit that had to be struck and rebuilt overnight.
The family had run this celebration before and had their own way of doing it. The plan was built to that, not to a template - which mostly meant asking a great many questions early and writing the answers down.
